Woodbridge Village is the The Irvine Company’s largest master planned residential neighborhood was developed and built in the 1970s and 1980s. Landscaping has matured and is well-cared for in all areas of Woodbridge.
There are choices for families who want their children to be in Irvine’s school system, as apartments, condominiums, patio homes and single family dwellings are available and throughout the area. The Yale Loop is about a five mile circular street that’s popular with runners and bicyclists. Woodbridge includes two man-made lakes, each spanned by a wooden bridge (“Woodbridge”), surrounded by walking trails, and including a swimming lagoon equipped with water slides and staffed by lifeguards in the summer.
More residential areas surround the loop, while the interior contains shopping with grocery, coffee house, auto station, fast food, mid-priced dining, commercial and medical office buildings. Woodbridge Village Center is the physical center of the community. Water’s Restaurant, the lakeview Ruby’s Diner and Woodbridge Family theater are anchors.
The Woodbridge Village Association governs the community, and the required fee buys access to all facilities, pools and tennis courts.
